QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong admin background for web, cloud and linux
• LAMP
• Experience in Web
• Public facing, Website API or Public API. Apache or Lambda
• PHP - 5 years experience with web cloud
• Consumer background team
• Supports ad tech, fox news. They build cloud ad tech , CDN, DNS, and security features
• Linux based team, apache
• Python, Node, PHP, HTTP, Admin tasks
• Supporting large scale operations

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and support infrastructure technologies and services, following operational and security best practices
• Monitor daily performance of networks, systems, and infrastructure to ensure operations continue within acceptable parameters
• Plan additions, upgrades, and conversions of network infrastructure, operating systems, and security patches
• Interact with development teams to help implement optimized, and scalable infrastructure

EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of experience in SysAdmin/SRE roles in *nix environments
• 7+ year of experience with Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Amazon Linux)
• 6+ years of experience building and operating web and API stacks (Apache, nginx, MYSQL, CDN)
• Advanced networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
• Experience with CDN and high-scale environments
• Strong understanding of features and capabilities of AWS (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, API Gateway, Lambda, Route53, Elasticsearch)
• Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Python
• Experience with source control systems like Git
• Strong skills in analysis, organization, and escalation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
